Overview

Kalshj: Probability Board (“Kalshj”, “the App”, “we”, or “us”) is an educational application for learning about probability and forecasting. This Privacy Policy explains how the App and this website handle information.

Kalshj does not require an account and does not operate servers that collect personal data from App users.

Information stored on your device

The App stores the following information locally on your device:

• Saved public market references
• Forecast probabilities and reasoning notes
• Virtual learning positions and decision history
• Learning progress, preferences, and local alerts

This information is not uploaded to us. It is removed when you reset learning data in the App or delete the App from your device.

Public market data

The App connects over HTTPS to the public Kalshi market-data API to retrieve live examples for educational use. These requests do not include your forecasts, journal entries, saved items, or other locally stored learning data.

Like other internet services, the data provider may receive standard technical information required to deliver a response, such as an IP address, request time, and basic connection information. That processing is governed by the provider’s own terms and privacy practices.

No accounts, advertising, or tracking

Kalshj does not require registration, collect exchange credentials, use advertising SDKs, sell personal information, or track you across apps and websites. The App does not include third-party analytics.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, the App may create local learning alerts on your device. Alert settings and notification content remain on your device and are not sent to us.

This website

This website provides product and legal information. It does not use accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, or marketing cookies. The hosting provider may process standard server logs for security, reliability, and delivery of the website.

Children

Kalshj is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Security and retention

The App uses standard encrypted transport for network requests. Because learning records remain on your device, their retention follows your device settings and backups. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, website, or applicable requirements change. The current version and its effective date will always be published on this page.
